Ahmedabad: Gujarat Titans registered a massive 82-run victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League.
After winning the toss at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Sunrisers Hyderabad elected to bowl first.
Batting first, Gujarat Titans posted 168 runs in 20 overs. Sai Sudharsan top-scored with 61 runs off 42 balls, while Washington Sundar added a quick half-century off 33 balls to strengthen the innings.
In reply, Sunrisers Hyderabad came under pressure from the beginning and failed to build partnerships against the disciplined Gujarat bowling attack. The team was bowled out for just 86 runs in 14.5 overs.
With this victory, Gujarat Titans moved to the top of the IPL points table.
