New Delhi: The Indian Youth Congress has removed 15 office bearers of the Karnataka Pradesh Youth Congress Committee (KPYCC), citing inactivity and dereliction of duty in organisational activities.
The action was taken with immediate effect, and the dismissed leaders have been temporarily relieved of their responsibilities, the organisation said.
Those removed include State Vice President Deepika Reddy along with several state general secretaries and secretaries. The Youth Congress shared details of the disciplinary action through its official social media handle on X.
The list includes general secretaries C.S. Francis Benito, Bindu Gowda, Suman Somashekhar, Afnan Khanam, Lakshmi K, Vani Kamble and Dakshinamurthy S.
State secretaries Abdul Raoof B.M., Syed Hussain Khadri, Mohammed Asif Hussain, S.R.S. Chand Basha, Govardhan G.C., Pavan Saliyan and Naveen Kumar S have also been removed.
The Youth Congress stated that the action was taken as the office bearers were not actively participating in party organisational work.
