New Delhi: ASSOCHAM on Monday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s seven appeals to citizens would play a major role in strengthening the country and building a developed India.
ASSOCHAM President Nirmal K Minda said the Prime Minister had urged people to support efforts to tackle rising prices caused by global economic instability, supply chain disruptions and international conflicts.
“These seven appeals are like mantras that will enhance India’s resilience, competitiveness and economic strength,” Minda said.
He noted that increased use of electric vehicles, railways and public transport would reduce pollution and improve energy security. He also said that reducing the use of chemical fertilisers and unnecessary foreign travel would help conserve foreign exchange reserves and support the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
