Rameswaram: Bengaluru-based IT professionals Danish Abdi and Vrushali Prasad have achieved a rare endurance feat by swimming approximately 32 km from Sri Lanka to India.

The couple became the first pair to complete the historic Rama Setu sea route swim. They began their journey from Talaimannar in Sri Lanka at 4:30 am on May 7 and reached Dhanushkodi in Tamil Nadu at 3:15 pm, completing the swim in 10 hours and 45 minutes.
