Hyderabad: Nearly 50% of the shooting for Telugu actor Gopichand’s upcoming action entertainer Singa has been completed, with the production progressing at a brisk pace.
Directed by action choreographer V. Venkat, the film has seen key sequences shot on elaborate sets designed to recreate a forest. The team is preparing to begin the next phase of filming in December.
Gopichand recently shared the film’s poster on social media platform X, raising anticipation among fans. The project marks Venkat’s directorial debut and is being produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the banner of 70mm Entertainments.
Malayalam actress Anarkali Nazar is making her debut in the Telugu film industry with Singa.
The technical crew includes cinematographer Shamdat, music composer Sam C.S. and editor Sreekar Prasad.
The makers are expected to present Gopichand in a fresh avatar in a story combining action, emotion and drama. With half the filming completed, the production team is gearing up for the next schedule as work on the action entertainer continues.
