Anusuya Bharadwaj To Play Leelavathi In ‘Nagabandham’

Chennai: Actress Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen playing the role of “Leelavathi” in director Abhishek Nama’s upcoming mythological action film Nagabandham, the makers have announced. ‘Nagabandham’ is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 3 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam languages.

Production banner Nick Studios unveiled Anusuya’s character look on social media on the occasion of her birthday, sharing the message, “Happy birthday to our Leelavathi.”

The film stars Virat Karna in the lead role, while Aishwarya Menen and Nabha Natesh play the female leads. The cast also includes Jagapathi Babu, Jayaprakash, Murali Sharma and B. S. Avinash.

According to the makers, the story revolves around the mysteries surrounding ancient Vishnu temples in India and the ritual known as “Nagabandham.” The film is said to draw inspiration from the secrets associated with the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Jagannath Temple temples.

The film carries the tagline “The Secret Treasure.” Cinematography is handled by Soundar Rajan S, while music has been composed by Abh and Junaid Kumar.
