BJP Questions INDIA Bloc’s Crowd Claims at Delhi Rally, Cites Vacant Space

New Delhi: BJP national spokesperson Sambit Patra on Sunday questioned the INDIA bloc’s claims of a massive turnout at its rally at Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, disputing earlier estimates that more than 10 lakh people were expected to attend.

Addressing a press conference, Patra cited visuals of the venue to argue that attendance was significantly lower than claimed by opposition leaders K C Venugopal and Pawan Khera.

He said Ramlila Maidan covered around 10 to 12 acres, with approximately 15% of the area occupied by the stage and the D-shaped section in front of it.

Patra further claimed that nearly 40% of the ground was vacant, with no seating arrangements or people present in those sections.

The BJP leader used the visuals to challenge the opposition’s claims about the scale of participation at the ‘Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao’ rally.
