Kohli’s Century Powers RCB To Big Win Over KKR

Raipura: Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a commanding win over Kolkata Knight Riders in an IPL match that began late due to rain.

After winning the toss, RCB opted to bowl first. Batting first, KKR posted 192 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 71 runs off 46 balls, while Rinku Singh remained unbeaten on 49.

For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood and Rasikh Salam picked up one wicket each.

Chasing a target of 193, RCB successfully reached 194 runs to seal the victory. Though Jacob Bethell was dismissed for 15, Virat Kohli played a match-winning unbeaten century and guided the team home comfortably.

During the innings, Kohli also achieved a major milestone by completing 14,000 runs in T20 cricket. According to ESPNcricinfo, he reached the landmark in 409 innings from 426 T20 matches.

Kohli has now scored nine centuries and 108 half-centuries in his T20 career, becoming the fastest player to reach the 14,000-run mark in the format.
