New Delhi: The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, headed by Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, has emerged as the top-performing department in the Centre’s internal progress review led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to Karnataka BJP chief B. Y. Vijayendra.
In a post on X, Vijayendra said the ministry secured the No. 1 position for its performance across several parameters, including speedy disposal of files and prompt redressal of public grievances.
He said the ministry, under Joshi’s leadership, has effectively implemented the Prime Minister’s vision of “good governance” and delivered notable administrative results.
Praising Joshi’s “dedication, efficiency and commitment”, Vijayendra said the recognition within the Union government reflects the minister’s sincere efforts and leadership abilities.
He also congratulated Joshi for “enhancing Karnataka’s prestige at the national level” through his contribution in the Union Cabinet.
