RSS ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varga’ Camp Concludes in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: The concluding ceremony of the 21-day ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varga Pratham (General)’ training camp organised by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh South Central Sector was held at Janaseva Vidyakendra in Channenahalli near Bengaluru.

Retired Army officer B.S. Raju attended the programme as the chief guest. Karnataka South Province Karyavaha Dr. M. Jayaprakash delivered the concluding address, while camp class officer Girish Hebbar was also present on the stage.

RSS Karyakarta Vikas Varga

The ‘Karyakarta Vikas Varga Pratham’ is considered one of the basic and important training programmes conducted for RSS workers. The camp aims to develop discipline, physical fitness, intellectual awareness and leadership qualities among volunteers.

The 21-day residential training camp included activities such as physical exercises, yoga, danda training, ghosh practice, and intellectual and theoretical sessions.

RSS officials stated that the training is conducted for volunteers who have completed the Sangh’s primary education class and meet the prescribed age criteria. Advanced second and third-level development training camps are organised after completion of the first-level training.

The programme concluded with participation from RSS workers and functionaries from different regions.
