Washington: US President Donald Trump on Monday sharply rejected Iran’s latest nuclear proposal, describing it as a “piece of garbage” and “unacceptable”.
Speaking at a White House event focused on maternal health, fertility, and childcare, Trump said Iran’s response to ongoing nuclear negotiations was “foolish” and accused Tehran of shifting its position after earlier discussions.

Addressing reporters in the Oval Office at the White House, he reiterated that Iran cannot be allowed to possess nuclear weapons under any circumstances.
“We are serving the world. Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said, reinforcing his administration’s hardline stance on the issue.
