Yash’s ‘Toxic’ set for August 26 release after multiple postponements

Bengaluru: The makers of upcoming action drama Toxic have announced August 26 as the film’s new release date, ending months of speculation following multiple postponements.

The film marks the first project of Yash after the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.

Directed by Geethu Mohandas and produced by KVN Productions, the big-budget entertainer was initially scheduled for an earlier release. However, the date was pushed back due to geopolitical tensions in the Middle East and later revised again as part of the makers’ strategy to strengthen the film’s global reach and promotional campaign.

The film features Rukmini Vasanth and Kiara Advani in key roles alongside Yash. Several prominent actors are also part of the ensemble cast.

The makers have reportedly partnered with international technicians and global companies to promote the film overseas. As part of the campaign, Yash has already interacted with international media outlets and shared details about the project.

With its worldwide release now locked for August 26, Toxic is expected to be one of the biggest Indian film releases of the year, with fans eagerly awaiting Yash’s return to the big screen.
