New Delhi: Apple is reportedly planning major upgrades in its upcoming iPhone 18 series, with changes expected in design, performance and artificial intelligence features.
The base model of the iPhone 18 is likely to arrive with a more powerful processor, improved cameras and enhanced Siri AI capabilities, according to reports. The device is expected to be a major upgrade over the iPhone 17 series.
The India price of the 256GB variant is estimated to be around ₹85,900. While Apple has not officially announced the launch date, reports suggest that the iPhone 18 could arrive by March 2027.
The smartphone is expected to feature a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor and a 48MP ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, it may come with a 24MP front camera.
The device is likely to sport a 6.3-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3000 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the iPhone 18 is expected to be powered by Apple’s A20 chip paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone may run on iOS 27 and include new AI-powered Siri features aimed at improving user experience.
The device is also expected to pack a 4000mAh battery with support for 25W MagSafe charging. Apple is yet to confirm the specifications officially.
