Saudi Arabia-Houthi Missile and Drone Attacks Intensify

Riyadh: Missile and drone attacks involving Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthi rebels have reportedly intensified, with Riyadh, Dammam and Najran among the targeted cities. Reports say the Saudi-led coalition intercepted several of seven attempted attacks.

King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Saudi Aramco oil facilities in Yanbu were cited among the potential targets. Debris from intercepted missiles reportedly fell in areas of Mecca and Medina, though the Houthis denied attacking those regions.

The rebels also alleged that around 100 airstrikes had hit Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. Houthi media reported that an attack on a workers’ residential area in Sanaa province killed eight people and injured more than 10.
